An Enlarged People’s Democratic Party PDP  Stakeholders of Uyo local government area held her meeting  on Tuesday August 14 2018 at Sir Val Attah’s enclave, declared their total support for Gov Udom Emmanuel.
The stakeholders who  spoke in one voice of all the good deeds of his Excellency in 3 years of his existence, said that, the governor deserves to go back for a second term.
The Executive Chairman Uyo local government, Elder(Hon) Imoh Okon while speaking said “Uyo is for Udom Emmanuel and no other party is allowed to penetrate”. He made  it clear  that the Uyo people have come with a ‘VOTE & WAIT’ method to ensure accurate and credible election. Adding that PDP in Akwa Ibom State is more solid than before having cognizance of the detractors.
In his word, the Commissioner for Information & Strategy, Mr Charles Udoh added that; Gov Udom has brought light to the State in terms of infrastructure and manpower development and they have no doubt to returned him for a second term.
The Chairman Uyo Capital City Development Authority, UCCDA, Prince Enobong Uwah pledged his intransigent and irreversible support for Governor Udom Emmanuel, insisting that, he stands by the earlier endorsement for a second term in office come 2019 by the stakeholders of Uyo Senatorial District.
The stakeholders urged the indigenous citizens of Uyo to enrolled in PVC registration to assist them display franchise.
At the end of the meeting, communiqué was issued out and it was read by the champion of Uyo, Prince Enobong Uwah and duely signed by all the stakeholders.
The meeting was well attended by the Crème-de-la-Creme of Uyo, PDP Chapter Chairman, Idorenyin Orok, Federal House of Representative, Hon Michael Enyong, Akwa Ibom House of Assembly member, Hon Monday Eyo, Youth Leader, Women Leader, clergy, elders.
