Sergio Agüero is one of the finest strikers ever to have graced the Premier League but it sometimes feels like he’s still pretty underrated.

In almost eight seasons at Manchester City, Agüero has never been voted Premier League Player of the Year or even made the Team of the Season.

And earlier this week, the Independent voted him the 10th best player in Premier League history.

But on Saturday, the Argentine drew level on goals scored with the man the Independent voted as the best player in Premier League history – Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.

Agüero’s strike in City’s 2-0 win at Fulham took his tally to 228 goals in 329 games.

Henry, on the other hand, also scored 228 goals, but the Frenchman needed 375 games to reach that total.
