The apex Igbo youth group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, on Wednesday, said it will interface with all presidential candidates in all the political parties to ascertain their plans on the restructuring of Nigeria.

The group made this known in a statement issued by the Deputy National publicity secretary, Chuks Ibegbu and forwarded to DAILY POST on Wednesday, insisted on the restructuring of Nigeria.

The statement stated that Ohanaeze will consult widely among Ndigbo before taking any decision on 2019.

Parts of the statement reads, “We call on Nigerians to reject nepotic and sectional Presidential candidates in the upcoming 2019 election. Nigeria presently need leaders that can unite the people of this country.

“Ohanaeze will encourage candidates with good blueprints, manifestos because the country is in dire need of restructuring.

“Ohanaeze does not endorse political aspirants. The people should identify only with credible and proactive
politicians at all levels.

The statement warned politicians in the country against politics of bitterness and rancor as the electioneering activities have commenced.
